IRPI History

David Selwood formed International Risk Placement, Inc. back in August 1983.  He saw the opportunity of developing a managing general agency which could survive in a competitive marketplace by offering different coverages at competitive prices with exceptional service throughout the underwriting, issuance, service, and claim scenarios.  Having started his career with Stewart Smith in Lloyd's in 1965, then arriving in the United States in 1973 he continued his employment with the Stewart Smith organization until 1983. With having over 50 years experience in the insurance industry.  He is dearly missed by all.

Members of the IRPI team include our Underwriters; David Dye, Catherine Mora, & Heather Hess  who in combination altogether have over 40 years experience in serving the insurance industry. We also have our talented Underwriting Assistants & Administrative staff.
